Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures Interpret cross-sectional imaging studies (CT, MRI, etc.) Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures as needed Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams Deliver high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities and Clinical Impact
Support surgical services through preoperative planning and postoperative complication management Deliver essential diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for oncology and nephrology patients Strengthen the urology service line by facilitating surgical support and promoting minimally invasive procedural strategies Enhance operational efficiency by improving length of stay (LOS), clinical outcomes, and complication rates
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time position Monday through Friday, daytime hours No call responsibilities No weekends No travel between sites
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (American Board or Canadian Board) Strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging Ability to perform a broad range of general radiology procedures Eligible to obtain an unrestricted New York medical license Ability to obtain required credentials and DEA certification
