VCA Sawmill Animal Hospital is a 9-doctor practice providing high-quality veterinary care including preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client education. We take pride in fostering a collaborative, supportive culture where learning, teamwork, and professional growth are encouraged.
Now that our renovation is complete, our facility features 10 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, a dental procedure room, new CT imaging services, a state-of-the-art physical therapy department, and an updated grooming department. About VCA

The Opportunity
As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play an essential role in patient care and client experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys hands-on nursing care, teamwork, and continuing to grow their skills in a supportive environment.
What You'll Do
Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery Perform dental prophylaxis, charting, and dental radiographs Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments and procedures Obtain patient histories and monitor hospitalized patients Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and at-home care Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Support teammates in delivering exceptional patient and client care What We're Looking For
Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, LVMT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE Strong technical skills or desire to continue developing clinical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Passion for patient care and client service Lifelong learners who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Why You'll Love Working Here
