About

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to volunteer alongside our current developer to help build the CTC Market Mobile App. This app will allow community members to view products, pre-order items, and facilitate secure payments. This is a hands-on role, perfect for developers who want to use their skills to support community food sustainability and local business growth. Responsibilities
Collaborate with another developer to build and refine the CTC Market App. Develop core features such as product listings, pre-orders, and vendor dashboards. Build and secure the payments and transactions module. Integrate payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Square, PayPal, or mobile money systems). Test, debug, and optimize user experience. Contribute to decisions around app architecture and feature design
Skills & Experience
Full-stack development experience, ideally with React Native, FastAPI, Express, Node.js, Python, or Java Spring Boot. Experience integrating secure payment systems. Familiarity with mobile app architecture, authentication, and APIs. Comfortable collaborating in a remote environment using GitHub or similar version control tools. Experience with marketplaces or e-commerce apps is a plus.
