Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000/year Schedule: Day Shift, Flexible Lead Phlebotomist Responsibilities:
Oversee the phlebotomy team, including scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance Serve as a resource to phlebotomy and reception staff Coordinate workflow to ensure timely collection of specimens Monitor sick call pager and adjust placements accordingly Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood samples Assist with difficult draws and serve as a technical expert for all collection procedures Ensure proper collection of research kits and other special procedures Lead Phlebotomist Qualifications:
Registration by the College of American Pathologists as a PBT, or the equivalent, is desired Current BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire Ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clinical staff and ensure patient continuity of care
