About

The Veterinary Technician Instructor will teach within the set curriculum of the program and tailor each class's materials to our student's learning abilities. This position will include on-campus lab time, running online courses, and assistance with the transition from an on-ground program to an online program. Large animal experience needed to teach 1 week course per term. Shift hours for the week are Mon-Thurs 10am-5pm Teaching experience is NOT required; training provided.

Minimum 3 years related work experience as a veterinary technician required. Minimum of an Associate's degree from an AVMA accredited program preferred Credentialed Veterinarian Technician (CVT) required Hands-on work with horses and cattle required; experience with goats and poultry is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Great interpersonal skills Flexible with hours and schedule through the week
