CT Technologist North Central Surgical Center is a highly successful, Baylor Scott & White affiliated hospital located in Dallas, TX. We partner with the very best team members and medical staff in the area. We are a surgical focused hospital that performs over 12,000 procedures per year. Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms. We are conveniently located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area. Specialties include: Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, Podiatry and Bariatric surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International Joint Commission Accredited. North Central Surgical Center is seeking a qualified Full-Time CT Technologist:
Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm On Call responsibilities per month are shared with other staff members May be eligible for a Sign-On Bonus
Equipment:
CT, GE EVO, 64 slice with ASIR technology Bayer / Medrad Power Injector with a 2023 upgraded technology
Job Summary: The CT Technologist will be responsible to support the Imaging Department for all CT needs focusing on orthopedic, spine, body, head and vascular exams. The technologist will work directly with the Radiologists as needed throughout the day. As the CT schedule permits, you will be asked to help support the department with the focus on the X-ray/Procedure room. Required Skills:
High School Diploma/GED Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology Two to five years' experience specific to CT Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - General License. AART advanced certification in CT CPR Current. Would like Tech to have 3-5 years' experience in CT IV Skill set and experience with a power projector. Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations. Must possess independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize multiple patients if/when needed. Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families. Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
