Performing comprehensive patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care plans Diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, working collaboratively with physicians or independently based on your credentials Providing education to patients and families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and effective disease management Prescribing medications and therapies within the defined scope of your practice Involvement in patient follow-up and ongoing chronic care management Working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, seamless care Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR) Essential Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Successful graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Licensure and Certifications Required
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Minnesota National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or similar specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain these within 90 days) Unique Skills That Position You for Success
