About
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Oklahoma. Basic knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety principles. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a hospital or clinical radiology department. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital imaging software. Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Commitment to continuing education and professional development in radiologic technology. Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients accurately for radiographic imaging procedures. Operate radiographic equipment to capture diagnostic images following established protocols. Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection guidelines and infection control standards. Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality. Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to review and discuss imaging results. Assist in managing imaging supplies and inventory to support daily operations. Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients to alleviate anxiety during procedures.

Strong communication skills are used daily to explain procedures to patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals effectively.
