Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Technician to perform comprehensive computed tomography imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care and emergency department setting. The professional in this role will be responsible for executing high-quality diagnostic imaging, utilizing advanced post-processing techniques, and ensuring patient safety across adult and pediatric populations. This position requires proficiency in operating advanced imaging equipment and electronic charting systems to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Location:Charlotte, North Carolina, United States Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography procedures for adult and pediatric patients in acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings. - Conduct high-volume imaging exams (approximately 70 procedures per day) within a multi-camera department. - Utilize advanced image display and post-processing skills, including 3D Rendering, Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), and Region of Interest measurement (ROI). - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic medical record and picture archiving systems. - Collaborate with healthcare teams in Level I and Level II trauma environments to provide timely diagnostic imaging. Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technician. - Active ARRT certification. - Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, Pediatric Care, and Level I & II Trauma settings. - Strict proficiency and prior experience with specific vendor imaging equipment as required by the facility. - First-time travelers are accepted. Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Previous travel contract experience. - Advanced proficiency in complex post-processing imaging techniques. Special Considerations:
- Requested Time Off (RTO) after booking is strictly prohibited and cannot be negotiated on-site; call-offs or additional RTO may result in contract cancellation. - On-call backup coverage is required for 1 to 2 weeks during the assignment. - No floating or weekend requirements for this role. - Orientation attendance is mandatory; missing any portion may result in a delayed or canceled start. - Scrubs required: Royal Blue (not provided by the facility). - An interview with unit management is required prior to an offer being extended. Scheduling: - 13-week assignment. - 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour mid shifts (11:00 to 21:30). - Fixed schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. - Start dates are subject to change based on class and trainer availability. Candidates must be fully available with no other commitments on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week to accommodate any schedule changes. - The facility will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.,
