Preparing and organizing the operating room for various surgical procedures Ensuring sterile conditions and complying with strict infection control standards Assisting surgeons and surgical assistants by passing instruments and supplies efficiently Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after each procedure Monitoring inventory of surgical supplies to guarantee readiness for each operation Collaborating closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, and other surgical personnel to provide exceptional patient care Maintaining accurate surgical counts and comprehensive documentation Education Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program High school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory Certifications Needed:
Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is essential BLS certification (or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment) Key Skills and Attributes:
