Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,580 - $2,720 (competitive travel nurse pay)
Location: Devils Lake, ND 58301 - North Dakota nursing jobs / Devils Lake ND travel nursing
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 30, 2026 - June 29, 2026)
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night rotation)
Employment Type: Travel nurse assignment, On-site - OB/GYN RN, Labor & Delivery Nurse
Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) or Obstetrics nursing as an OB/GYN RN
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
STABLE certification preferred
Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics units as an OB/GYN Registered Nurse / L&D RN
Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, monitor labor progress and react to changes in patient status
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on clinical assessments and obstetric protocols
Recognize early warning signs, respond to emergencies, and initiate appropriate interventions (including neonatal stabilization)
Collaborate and coordinate care with physicians, midwives, neonatology, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, and safe discharge planning
Accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
Delegate and assign nursing tasks appropriately and support unit operations as needed
