About
Operate CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans with precision and care, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnoses. Review physician orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are conducted. Work closely with radiologists to interpret and analyze CT scans, providing detailed results for clinical assessments. Monitor and guide patients through the scanning process, ensuring comfort and clear communication. Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to guarantee smooth, efficient operations and minimize downtime. Strictly adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff. Keep accurate records of all procedures and patient data within the hospital's electronic system, maintaining patient confidentiality. CT Scan Technologist Requirements:
Certification as a CT Technologist through ARRT (CT) is required. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New Mexico is required. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required. Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred. Benefits:
