About

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This closing-shift role plays a critical part in ensuring that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and ready to support patient care for the next day. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently during later hours while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and safety. Schedule & Compensation
Shift Hours: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM Full-time, 4, 10 Hour Shifts, Monday - Friday Shift Type: Closing Shift Differential: $1.90 What You Will Do:Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment following established protocols Perform biological and chemical sterilization tests as required Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal standards Restock and organize sterile storage areas Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure instrument readiness and availability Support end-of-day department shutdown procedures, ensuring all equipment and work areas are secured and prepared for the next day What You Will Need:
Candidates for this position must have at least 1-2 years' experience in sterile processing in a medical environment. Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST, CBSPD) preferred; may consider non-certified candidates with experience. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs The ability to prioritize and work under pressure. Be self-motivated, self-reliant and resourceful.
