Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echo Tech)MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) to join their client's team within an acute-care hospital setting near San Jose, California! Key Responsibilities for Echocardiography Technologist:
Perform a range of diagnostic echocardiographic exams, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. Operate and maintain ultrasound and diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for physician review. Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process. Collaborate closely with cardiologists and healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely imaging results. Maintain patient records with attention to detail and in compliance with hospital standards. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Echocardiography Technologist Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Echocardiography program is required. Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in echocardiography is required. BLS certification must be completed prior to starting. Prior experience in echocardiography within an acute-care hospital setting is highly preferred. Echocardiography Technologist Benefits:
