Position Summary The Fellowship Program offers medical students enrolled in accredited U.S. medical schools the opportunity to spend 1-2 years conducting non-exclusive intensive work in clinical research within the department of Pediatric ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery at Children’s Minnesota. Fellows are selected on the basis of a competitive application. The Fellowship seeks individuals with demonstrated academic achievement and an earnest interest in Otolaryngology. Although applicants may have prior research experience, applications are also encouraged from students without extensive prior research experience. Applications are encouraged from second and third-year medical students. 1st and 4th-year medical student applications will be reviewed on an ad hoc basis according to program vacancies. There are no citizenship requirements for application, but those who are not U.S. citizens must have and maintain an appropriate visa. The Fellowship will not handle visa matters for applicants. The Fellowship is designed to run concurrently with medical school classes and curriculum. Children’s ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery is committed to promoting diversity in the biomedical and scientific community.
