About This RolePeavine Animal Hospital is seeking an Experienced Associate DVM to join our growing team as we expand our services for the Reno/Sparks community. We are enhancing our hospital to provide weekend hours and urgent care services, elevating the level of veterinary medicine we offer pets and their families. We're looking for an experienced veterinarian who can work independently and help us achieve our growth goals. Our ideal candidate will thrive in a varied practice environment, handling general practice, urgent care, and surgical cases. You'll have the opportunity to practice at the top of your license with excellent support staff and modern facilities, including dual surgical suites and digital dental radiology. What Success Looks LikeClinical Excellence: You'll apply your veterinary expertise to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries, prescribe medications, perform surgeries, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. Client Communication: You'll build trust with pet owners by clearly explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and home care instructions with empathy and professionalism. Collaborative Care: You'll work seamlessly with our veterinary technicians and support staff, providing guidance while valuing their input and expertise. Preventive Focus: You'll educate clients about preventive care, including vaccinations, parasite control, nutrition, and early disease detection. Continuous Learning: You'll stay current with veterinary advancements and contribute to our hospital's culture of medical excellence and innovation.
