About
Provide high-quality care to pediatric ICU patients. Perform essential medical procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, and chest tube placements. Administer medications and manage complex medication protocols, including vaso-active drips. Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with resuscitation as needed. Adapt to changing patient conditions and demonstrate flexibility in response to staff needs.
Active RN License. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required. Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, specifically in a PICU setting. Experience with critical care equipment relevant to pediatric patients. Ability to accept constructive criticism and demonstrate willingness to grow professionally.
