Entry Level Behavior Technician San Diego, CA 92103 School-Based Autism Support Program | San Diego, CA Make a meaningful impact in a highly supported school-based ABA setting. Availability needed: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:00pm. This is a highly supported, team-based environment where you'll receive hands-on training, ongoing mentorship, and immediate access to supervisors throughout the day. What You'll Do
Provide 1:1 support to students throughout the school day Implement behavior plans and individualized programming Support students in achieving IEP and behavioral goals Collect data using Central Reach and a company-issued iPad Collaborate with teachers, supervisors, and clinical teams

Student Population Students range from elementary age through transition-age adults (18–22 years old) and may present with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder Communication delays/AAC device usage Aggression Self-injurious behavior Elopement

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Enrolled or completed one college course (Trade/Tech School is applicable) Reliable transportation, in State valid driver's license*, and active car insurance
*Military and college students may be exempt from in State valid driver's license
Comfortable using technology Passion for working with children and young adults
Experience working with children is a plus, but not required. We value compassion, coachability, and a desire to make a difference. Physical Requirements:
Direct work with clients may include, without limitation, the following physical demands: sitting, kneeling, squatting, running, twisting and turning, reaching above shoulders and/or frequent physical transitions. Responsibilities listed are illustrative and may change at ACES' discretion.
