State-of-the-Art Technology: Utilize advanced echocardiogram equipment and other diagnostic tools to deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform Echocardiograms: Conduct diagnostic echocardiograms (adult and pediatric) to assess heart function, detect abnormalities, and support physician diagnoses. Patient Care: Explain procedures to patients, ensure their comfort, and position them correctly for optimal imaging results. Quality Imaging: Capture clear, accurate echocardiogram images in accordance with established protocols and physician orders. Collaboration: Work closely with cardiologists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to interpret diagnostic results and assist in the development of treatment plans. Patient Education: Provide patients with information on echocardiogram procedures and assist with questions related to their care. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of echocardiogram results, patient data, and imaging reports for physician review and future reference. Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited Cardiovascular or Echocardiography program. Certification: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer) certification required. Other certifications (e.g., BLS) are a plus. Experience: Previous experience as an Echocardiogram Technologist is preferred, but recent graduates with the appropriate certification are also encouraged to apply. Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to move patients and operate ultrasound equipment for extended periods of time. Benefits:
