Responsibilities:
Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients. Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order. Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity. Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself. Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. Qualifications:
Must have relevant credentials as defined below:
Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
Previous CT experience preferred. CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
Maintains active registry status.
Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
