About
Performs all duties of Level I, II & III technologist.
Supervises imaging services, including performance or supervision of tests, and daily management of assigned personnel.
Assists in compilation of statistical data for departmental evaluation purposes.
Contributions to the preparation of the annual departmental budget and development of administrative and operational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Responsible for hire, discipline, and promotion of department staff.
Obtains and examines the diagnostic orders for appropriateness to the type of exam ordered and any special notes or comments.
Coordinate/manage scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
Collaborates in the development of in-service training for departmental staff.
Completes yearly performance appraisals for the staff and handles requests for merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology /Diagnostic Imaging Program .
Must possess a valid State of Florida License as a General Radiographer.
ARRT registered with ARRT certification in primary modality required .
CPR and BLS certification required .
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience . Supervisory experience preferred.
