About
Adhere to established safety protocols including infection prevention, safe patient handling, and critical lab notifications to maintain a secure care environment. Deliver high-quality nursing care through medication administration, nursing interventions, and patient and family education. Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to monitor status, enhance safety, and provide accurate updates to the healthcare team. Maintain precise documentation of all patient care activities and quality monitoring to support compliance with healthcare standards. Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, patients, and families to improve outcomes and foster a positive care experience. Delegate tasks appropriately while promoting teamwork and accountability within the care team. Adapt professionally to the dynamic healthcare environment, embracing change and continuous learning. Education Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required. Experience At least one year of acute care nursing experience is preferred. Requirements
Current Registered Nurse license valid in a Compact State or the state of employment. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Mental and Physical Demands This role requires considerable mental focus and physical activity including lifting up to 35 pounds, frequent walking, standing, turning, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, twisting, and reaching. Working Conditions Frequent exposure to infectious and communicable diseases as well as occasional encounters with hostile individuals may occur. Minimal physical discomfort is expected.
