What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in patient care and hospital operations, including:
Assisting with patient exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
Supporting doctors and technicians with patient restraint, treatment preparation, and workflow efficiency
Monitoring patients during hospitalization and post-operative recovery
Comforting and advocating for pets with gentle, low-stress handling techniques
Maintaining clean, organized treatment and exam spaces to support patient safety and hospital flow
Communicating with clients by answering questions, providing updates, and delivering compassionate support

High school diploma or equivalent required; formal veterinary assistant training or certification is preferred. Passionate about animal care and client service
Eager to learn and grow in veterinary medicine
Calm, adaptable, and dependable in a fast-paced environment
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Previous veterinary experience is required
Position DetailsLocation: 42 Alpha Drive, Newtown Square, PA 19073 Pay Range: $18-23/hr, based on experience.
