Teaching students coping strategies and provide treatment to eliminate or minimize specific communication disorders. Evaluating and assessing communication delays with appropriate testing materials to arrive at a clear diagnosis in specific areas such as oral communication, which includes auditory perception, speech and expressive language; and total communication which include alternative modes and written communication. Planning schedules to meet DIS-S/L students weekly. Writing monthly and annual student progress reports.. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in speech pathology or related field. Active state SLP License. Solid motivational, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
