Job Full Description 2nd Shift Process Technician - Plastic Manufacturing Pay: $19/hr Location: Mesa, AZ Shift: 2nd Shift | 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM Mon-Thurs A well-established plastic manufacturing facility in Mesa is hiring a 2nd Shift Process Technician to support production operations, maintain equipment functionality, and ensure safe, high-quality output. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you're dependable, safety-minded, and looking for stability with growth potential-this role may be for you! What You'll Do As a Process Technician, you will:
Monitor and maintain production processes to ensure consistent quality and output Troubleshoot equipment/process issues and make adjustments as needed Identify and report problems related to equipment, work orders, materials, or production flow Recommend process improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Perform quality checks and verify product standards (including color consistency) Support safe operations and maintain a clean, organized work area Operate material handling equipment as needed (forklift/pallet jack/overhead crane)
What We're Looking For Qualified candidates should have:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish color differences Experience operating:
Forklift Pallet jack Overhead crane
Manufacturing experience preferred (plastic manufacturing a plus) Quality Control, light industrial, assembly experience is a plus Ability to work independently, make good decisions, and follow safety guidelines
