Maine Medical Center Professional - Clinical Req #: 77765 Summary: This position is at Maine Medical Center-Biddeford.
Full time (40 hours/week), Day Shift. The Surgical Support Technician role is responsible for sterile and unsterile supplies in all storage areas within Surgical Services. This includes ordering, setting and maintaining shelf levels of stock items, special order products and instruments. Establishes, implements and ensures preventative maintenance program for all OR equipment with the exception of anesthesia specific equipment. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
Experience: Two years of experience in Surgical Services preferred.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills and knowledge of surgical asepsis.
