About

Surgery System Representative TRIA is looking to hire a Surgery System Representative to join our surgery center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. Position Summary: Secures necessary patient information relating to the scheduling and/or processing of surgical procedures. Schedules surgeries and performs required procedures including documentation. Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinates information provided for business services functions including CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding. Knows the number of surgeries scheduled for the day, coordinates all patient registration, postoperative documentation using Provation, surgery scheduling and the needs for each case. This position will anticipate the needs ahead of time and be fully prepared to provide the surgical team with the appropriate computer support. This position may require mentoring and training of new personnel for this position. All aspects of training will be approached with a willingness to teach and share knowledge, at the same time doing so with helping the co-worker to succeed. All work is done with a positive attitude and willingness to help. This position will assist in helping the OR schedule to run smoothly by paying attention to all cases. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8 hr shifts, alternating 545-215pm and 830am-5pm week by week. Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
2 or more years related experience in a health care environment.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
NA
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer training, Provation, Logician, Insight training and competent
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
Detail oriented individual with strong human relation and organizational skills.
Medical terminology and data entry experience required.
