About
Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare them for x-rays, and adjust immobilization devices to obtain clear images. Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation. Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to produce the necessary images. Prepare and administer contrast media when appropriate. Ensure all necessary documentation, such as consent forms, is completed before exams. Participate in quality-assurance activities to monitor and improve departmental performance. Perform routine preventive maintenance on radiology equipment. Collaborate with nursing staff to verify patient schedules and special requirements. Benefits & Compensation

Temporary license through IEMA and licensed by the State of Illinois in Radiography required. Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiology program. Previous clinical experience preferred.
