About
Previous experience in healthcare admissions, intake coordination, case management, or skilled nursing preferred Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and insurance authorization processes preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare-related education preferred Job Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate incoming referrals and admissions for the skilled nursing facility Review referral documentation for completeness, insurance coverage, and clinical appropriateness Communicate with hospitals, case managers, physicians, families, and internal departments regarding admission status and bed availability Collaborate with nursing leadership and clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient transitions Verify insurance benefits and obtain required authorizations when applicable Maintain accurate records in electronic medical record systems and admission tracking tools Coordinate transportation and admission logistics as needed Ensure compliance with facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and payer requirements Support census development and customer service initiatives Why Join Redmont Health and Rehabilitation Center?
