Job Description Qualifications:
AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent NYS license/registration or eligible ARRT certification in Mammography (minimum of one-year progressive technical experience) Current CPR certification required Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Duties:
Perform mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the radiologist's order Greet patients, prepare them for their exam, and explain the procedure Position patients appropriately for radiographs and use proper exposure factors to obtain high-quality images Maintain quality standards for mammography as per the 1999 ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual Maintain continuing education requirements specified by MQSA Track patient information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing Perform any other necessary tasks to ensure quality patient care
