About
Conducts psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management for patients with mental health and co-occurring conditions for adults, adolescents, and children. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans consistent with evidence-based practices. Provides substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment. Provides crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed. Adheres to FQHC standards, federal and state regulations, and clinical best practices.
Applicants must have a medical degree from an accredited medical school in the U.S., be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Have an unrestricted Maine license to practice medicine. And have a U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency registration with authorization to prescribe controlled substances. Qualifications include:
Experience working in an FQHC, community mental health center, or similar setting. Experience with telepsychiatry. Familiarity with trauma informed care and social determinants of health. Proficiency in the use of at least one ONC-certified electronic medical record system and basic Microsoft applications. Must not have an active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
Must show proof of immunity or have been immunized for MMR, Hep B, Influenza (required annually) and the COVID primary series.
