About
Conduct thorough assessments on patients of all ages, employing standardized measures and observational approaches. Craft tailored treatment plans that focus on achieving both immediate and long-term communication goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions addressing language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues. Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families. Educate patients and their families to foster progress beyond the clinical environment. Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring holistic continuity of care. Maintain timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational guidelines. Engage in ongoing education and collaborate with peers to stay on the cutting edge of the field. Education Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certification Specifications
Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment. Desired Skills
