About
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning all ages, utilizing standardized assessments and clinical observations. Create tailored treatment strategies poised to achieve both short-term milestones and long-term communication or swallowing improvements. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that emphasize communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders. Work collaboratively alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design holistic care plans. Educate patients and families on strategies to enhance progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care. Document patient progress and treatment plans promptly and in alignment with regulatory guidelines. Remain attuned to industry developments through continual education opportunities and peer networking. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire. Skills
