About
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing established assessments and observational methods. Create tailored treatment plans that fulfill both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that concentrate on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to establish integrated care plans. Provide education for patients and families to facilitate their progress outside of clinical environments. Participate in patient evaluations and interventions as needed, guaranteeing that continuity of care is maintained throughout the treatment process. Ensure precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Remain informed about the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment. Skills
