Manage the work activities of the assigned department(s) to include the RNs, LPNs, and STNAs. Served as patient/family advocate to facilitate patient care, communication and resolutions of problems and ethical dilemmas. Ensure accurate, effective and pertinent communication for all staff and shifts as well as through the chain of command. Assist DON with promoting positive employee relations. Demonstrates leadership style that encourages staff accountability. Provides direct care to residents, as needed to maintain clinical skills. Completes mandatory education and training in order to maintain organization and department specifics competencies and requirements. Maintains applicable certification/licensure. Other duties as assigned
Certifications:
CPR/First Aide Current nursing license in the State of Ohio RN required
