Perform detailed patient evaluations, suggest necessary diagnostic procedures, and craft tailored care strategies Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health concerns, collaborating with physicians or working autonomously (per your credentials) Provide education for patients and their families on wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies according to your practice scope Engage in ongoing patient care and chronic illness management Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive and seamless patient care Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Qualifications and Credentials
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program Necessary Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to secure within 90 days) Desirable Skills
