Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized tests and observational methods. Craft individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving short-term objectives and long-term communication, swallowing, or cognitive improvements. Deliver tailored speech therapy interventions, focusing on language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Engage in teamwork with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to build integrated care strategies. Provide educational resources for patients and families to complement the therapy sessions. Participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when needed, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in compliance with all relevant guidelines and protocols. Stay informed on the latest developments in the field through continuous education and peer collaboration. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment. Skills
