Preparing and organizing the operating room, ensuring it is primed for various surgical procedures Maintaining sterile environments while strictly following infection control protocols Providing instruments and necessary supplies to surgeons and their teams with precision Managing surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures to guarantee readiness Monitoring supply levels to ensure everything required for surgical operations is readily available Working cohesively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure seamless patient care Documenting surgical counts accurately to maintain compliance with regulations Educational Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program is essential A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory Required Certifications:
A valid CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification is required BLS certification (with the ability to secure it within 90 days of your hire date) Essential Skills and Attributes:
