Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic assessments, and crafting tailored care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions with physician collaboration or autonomously (as per your credentials) Providing education to patients and their families regarding wellness, preventive measures, and disease management Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice Engaging in patient follow-up initiatives and managing chronic health conditions Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote comprehensive and seamless care Maintaining accurate and complete documentation within electronic medical records (EMR) Educational Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program Essential Certifications
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Minnesota National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days) Attributes That Make You Stand Out
