Facilitating surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room efficiently Upholding sterile fields and following strict infection control protocols Providing instruments and essential supplies promptly to surgeons and surgical assistants Preparing and managing surgical equipment seamlessly before, during, and after procedures Monitoring supplies and ensuring operational readiness for each surgery Collaborating effectively with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure smooth surgical interventions Maintaining accurate counts and documentation to guarantee patient safety Essential Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology High school diploma or its equivalent necessary Required Certifications:
Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification essential BLS certification or ability to secure it within 90 days of employment Desirable Skills and Traits:
In-depth knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures across various specialties Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities in high-stress situations Quick prioritization skills and responsiveness to the surgical team's requirements Strong organizational habits, with an eye for detail and cleanliness Proficiency with aseptic technique and maintenance of sterile fields What Makes This Role Unique:
