Junior - IT Administrator Onsite - Houston, TX
Job Duties & Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines (VMs), storage systems, and network devices. Administer and support Microsoft 365 environment, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and user account management. Manage and maintain Azure cloud environment, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), virtual machines, security policies, backups, and access controls. Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows servers and related services. Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware and software systems across the organization. Manage ManageEngine/Manage360 or similar IT management and monitoring platforms for endpoint management, patching, inventory, and support. Monitor system performance, server uptime, backups, and overall network health to ensure business continuity. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, VPN connectivity, and internet/network infrastructure. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, wireless access issues, printer issues, and user system problems. Manage cybersecurity measures including antivirus, MFA, endpoint protection, access permissions, password policies, and security monitoring. Handle user onboarding and offboarding activities including account setup, laptop configuration, access provisioning, and asset tracking. Provide desktop and remote technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and connectivity issues. Maintain IT documentation, system inventories, SOPs, licenses, warranties, and configuration records. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, maintenance, internet services, and software support. Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes. Ensure IT systems comply with company policies, security standards, and audit/compliance requirements. Assist in planning and implementing IT upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements. Support conference room technology, video conferencing systems, and office IT equipment. Monitor and manage IT tickets, service requests, and issue resolution timelines. Stay updated with current technology trends, security threats, and best practices to improve the organization’s IT environment. Travel within Houston and able to lift 50 Pounds
