About
Team Management and Scheduling
Supervise and manage a team of mobile phlebotomists. Submit accurate time and mileage reports for the phlebotomy team. Create and manage daily schedules and routes to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
Training and Support
Provide initial training and ongoing support to all mobile phlebotomists. Offer guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations to support team development.
Facility and Client Relations
Maintain regular communication with assigned facilities and their staff. Address and resolve any service concerns promptly and professionally.
Administrative and Compliance Tasks
Assist with correction and missing information requests from the Insurance and Billing teams. Complete and submit all required documentation and records in a timely manner.
Operational Support
Provide coverage for sample collection duties as needed.
Represent PHS laboratory services with professionalism, knowledge, and a helpful attitude. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of mobile phlebotomy experience. Prior experience managing a team of phlebotomists. Strong understanding of Nursing Home and LTAC operations. Knowledge of logistical needs for maintaining a smooth phlebotomy program. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to independently resolve problems. Manual dexterity for handling small instruments and performing precise blood draws. Flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes and varying patient needs.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods while performing specimen collection Comfortable driving for extended stretches to various patient locations. Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds. Manual dexterity for handling small instruments and performing precise blood draws. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform under high-stress situations. Flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes and varying patient needs.
