The Occupational Therapist is a valuable member of the Children's Disability Network Team who will provide a quality evidence-based service in line with Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles including family-centred practice. We have looking to recruit for positions working on our Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNTs). St. Michael's House have 4 CDNTs located in Ballymun, Coastal, Coolock and Kilbarrack. The successful candidate must have the following: Essential Criteria Degree or Masters in Occupational Therapy accredited to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. Fully registered or registration in process with CORU. Proven post qualification or final clinical placements experience working with children with complex needs arising from a disability. Excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to work in a self directed manner. Excellent ability to work with complex cases as part of a team. Committed to the delivery of quality, family-centred, community-based services Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) in the relevant area. Desirable Criteria Clinical experience of working with children with a variety of complex needs including ASD, Intellectual Disability and Physical Disability. Experience in supporting 24-hour postural management needs with a recognised seating/postural management course completed. Experience in the implementation of sensory integration approaches with a recognised sensory integration course completed. Previous experience related to Assessment of Need. Full clean driving licence and use of a car Salary scale : €45,063 - €64,424 LSI Should you have no prior public sector experience you will be placed on point 1 of the pay-scale above A panel will be created for future employment opportunities, across the 4 St Michael's House Children's Disability Network Teams.
