CNA - LTC

This is a 13-week contract position requiring a flu vaccine. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will support eye care services for patients of all ages, developing skills as an optometry assistant through on-the-job training and self-training modules. Key functions include customer service, attention to detail, clear communication, and timely documentation.

Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

• Room and screen patients for providers, perform optical and point of care lab testing.
• Accurately document patient information in a timely manner.
• Assist patients with optical orders: verifying benefits, frame selection, order entry, and payment collection.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering and cleaning.
• Acquire ocular imaging, including photos and visual fields, and enter images into medical records.
• Assist with scheduling and triaging referred, recalled, or diabetic patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and collaborate to meet patient and organizational needs.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of medical assistant experience.
• National Medical Assistant Certification is required.
