Richard Nolan Civil Engineering is expanding and we are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our growing Utilities & Infrastructure team. We are currently recruiting for both Project Managers and Project Engineers with experience in ESB, utilities, or civil infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will play a key role in the delivery of utility and civil infrastructure projects from planning and coordination through construction and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Delivery and coordination of ESB and utility infrastructure projects from inception to completion Site engineering, setting out, and technical support Coordination of construction crews, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers Programme management, resource planning, and productivity monitoring Preparation of QA documentation, daily records, progress reports, and as-built information Liaison with ESB Networks, Uisce ireann, Local Authorities, clients, and utility stakeholders Management of health & safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance Support project planning, permitting, traffic management, and reinstatement requirements Commercial awareness including variations, change management, and project reporting Monitoring project progress, programme performance, risks, and costs Candidate Requirements Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline Project Manager: 47 years experience in utilities, power, or infrastructure delivery Project Engineer: 25 years experience in utilities, ESB, telecoms, water, or infrastructure sectors Experience working within live utility environments desirable Experience with ESB Networks, utility ducting, cable installation, substations, or public realm utility works beneficial Knowledge of permit systems, traffic management, and utility coordination advantageous Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work within fast-paced operational environments Full clean driving licence Safe Pass and relevant utility certifications desirable Skills: Project Delivery & Coordination Utilities / ESB Infrastructure Experience Programme & Resource Management Health, Safety & Quality Compliance Stakeholder & Client Management Commercial & Contractual Awareness Strong Communication & Organisational Skills
