Overview We are looking to recruit a motivated and curious Software Integrations Engineer with 5-8 years of software development experience to join our team. The Integration Team operates as a core function within the Digital Group, underpinning PM Group's ambition to establish a unified, agile digital ecosystem. The Integration Team ensures that our systems are interoperable, secure, and future-ready, driving innovation and supporting business growth. Responsibilities Integration & Automation Development Design, build, and maintain integrations and automations using Workato Create end-to-end recipes, connectors, and workflows across various systems, aligned with business needs (e.g., SaaS apps, internal tools, databases)-to-end recipes, connectors, and workflows across various systems Optimise existing automations for performance, scalability, and reliability Production Support and Maintenance Monitor and troubleshoot workflows to identify and resolve issues efficiently Work effectively with cross functional teams to proactively implement monitoring tools and alerting systems, to minimise workflow disruptions and support timely incident response Solution Design Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Analyse processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, or AI powered enhancements-powered enhancements Ensure solutions follow best practices for error handling, security, and maintainability Innovation & Continuous Learning Share best practices and mentor colleagues on integration automation concepts Stay updated with enhancements in integration best practices for better implementation Stay curious and experiment with AI tools, low-code platforms, and emerging integration technologies Qualifications REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 5-8 years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or integration development Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering or related Demonstratable experience of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Ruby, Python, JavaScript, etc.) Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues calmly and logically with a detail-oriented mindset Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple language and liaise with teams effectively Strong understanding of APIs, JSON, and common integration patterns NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS Hands-on experience with integrated systems or iPaaS tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Boomi, MuleSoft, Make) SQL and database experience Hands-on Workato custom connector development Workato certification Familiarity with event-driven architectures Experience with CI/CD, ADO, or DevOps workflows Previous exposure to data mapping WHO YOU ARE A problem solver who enjoys automating repetitive tasks A team player who thrives in collaborative environments Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping processes Friendly and open, and confident communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences Curious, proactive, and excited about new technologies, especially low-code and AI Openness to work with new processes.
