Overview Our client is seeking a
QA Functional Tester
to support the Customer Service Management System (CSMS), a critical platform used to manage non-emergency city services and public requests. This role focuses on testing enhancements, defect fixes, and system upgrades within a
Microsoft Dynamics CRM
environment and associated digital platforms (portal, mobile, SMS).
Key Responsibilities
Review requirements for completeness and testability; provide QA sign-off Develop test strategy, test plans, and detailed test cases Execute test cases and document results Track, report, and resolve defects using tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA Prepare test data and maintain test scripts Support deployments and contribute to regression/sanity testing Identify opportunities for automation and performance testing Maintain documentation (SharePoint, test systems, etc.) Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
8+ years of QA experience in complex enterprise environments Strong experience with
Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS)
or similar SDLC tools Experience mapping requirements to test cases Experience testing
web-based (HTML) applications API/Web services testing experience (Postman, SoapUI) Knowledge of
CSV, XML, JSON
data formats Familiarity with reporting/query tools (e.g., Dynamics CRM, Power Query, Access) Strong documentation, defect tracking, and communication skills Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Microsoft Dynamics CRM UI test automation (Selenium, UFT/QTP) SQL knowledge for data validation Experience testing mobile applications Understanding of
SOA architecture, REST/SOAP APIs Exposure to NYC government environments
