divh2Job Title/h2pResponsible for assisting sales supervisor and sales coordinator through various tasks needed to input the set- up of events, plant bars and plant sales and make new connections for events./ppEssential Requirements:/pulliHave and maintain a valid Oklahoma drivers license. Have a dependable vehicle at all times. Have and maintain automobile insurance coverage at all times. Maintain eligibility to operate agency vehicles./liliPhysical capacities must include professional appearance, and bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds./liliWork flexible schedule based on schedules of persons served by and needs of A New Leaf, including but not limited to working scheduled evenings or weekends as events require./liliFollow policies and procedures of A New Leaf, Inc./liliEnsures all individuals served are safe in their working environment and program participation at all times./liliAbility to clearly communicate verbally and in writing, completing required documentation and reports./liliAbility to work as a team and work with a flexibility mind set, to achieve a desired balance between social service and entrepreneurial missions./li/ulpSpecific Responsibilities:/pulliResponsible for attending plant bars, plant sales and events./liliWith oversight from Sales Supervisor, assist with the spring Easter lilies campaign/liliWith oversight from Sales Supervisor, assist with Valentine Roses campaign/liliWith oversight from Sales Supervisor, assist with holiday poinsettia campaign/liliActively seek out new contacts to set up events within the community that will assist with the growth of A New Leaf Social Enterprise./liliEngage with and support A New Leaf clients when attending all community events./liliAttends all necessary license/certification, in-service training and conferences in order to maintain awareness of policies, procedures and current greenhouse regulations, along with supervision and training techniques./liliComplies with recognized professional standards of ethical conduct and maintain quality services./liliWhen needed work at Garden Centers/li/ulpSpecial Requirements:/pulliCriminal arrest check will be done through the OSBI; Per Section 1025.1 et seq. Of Title 56 of the Oklahoma statues, House Bill 1790, any prospective employee with a felony or misdemeanor conviction, guilty plea or plea of nolo contendere will not be eligible for employment. This prohibition may be disregarded if an appropriate waiver is obtained from the Office of the Director, DDSD, Department of Human Services, or his/her designees./liliCommunity Services Registry checks (House Bill 1790) will be done through DDSD, Department of Human Services. The person whose name appears on the registry cannot work for A New Leaf./liliEmployees and A New Leaf are engaged in an at-will employment relationship, meaning that either are free to terminate the relationship at any time with or without reason and with or without notice./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMinimum age
21 years old./liliSales work experience required, marketing and merchandising work experience preferred./liliPhysical capabilities must include bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds./liliMust possess intermediate math skills including the ability to calculate figures, amounts and percentages./liliPositive attitude, strong customer service skills and an expressed desire to work with persons with developmental disabilities/liliPhysical ability to conduct training involving manual labor./liliFinal hiring pending on OSBI background check, clean driving record, Community Services Registry check, and pre-employment screening./li/ul/div
