divh2Full Time Caregiver/h2pWe are looking for 1 full time caregiver Tuesday-Saturday 1 part-time caregiver Saturday-Sunday./ppEssential functions and responsibilities:/pulliAssisting residents with ADL tasks as indicated in their service plans. This includes but not limited to: assisting with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, serving and assisting with meals, feeding, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry/liliAlways observe and uphold resident rights/liliPositively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues/liliAssist other staff as needed on the floors/liliAssist residents to and from meals/liliSupports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked./liliMust be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of care for residents/liliKeep environment safe and clean for residents; performing housekeeping duties as indicated on cleaning schedule or assignment sheets./liliObserve residents for safety and report any and all changes in resident condition effectively, accurately, and in a timely manner to LN on duty/liliAssist in development and revision of Service Plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches./liliAnswers all resident pendant/pull cords immediately./liliCarry and possess a working knowledge of community call/communication system/liliAll other duties as assigned./li/ulpAdditional functions:/pulliMust be neat in appearance, pleasant personality, be congenial to fellow team members, residents, families, and the public in general. Must be capable of using own judgement and initiative in daily duties./liliAlways demonstrates safe working practices./liliMaintains a professional image to residents and fellow co-workers in words, actions and in appearance/liliAlways maintains confidentiality and privacy of our residents and staff./liliRelate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner./liliMust be a mature individual. Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice./liliMust have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines./liliMust be detail and team-work oriented./liliMust attend required in-services/workshops to further education of skills and community requirements./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliMust be drug free and submit to urinary analysis drug screening upon hire./liliMust be able to pass criminal background check, health screening including TB test./liliMust be eighteen (18) years old./liliMaintains current CPR and first aid certification./liliAbility to read, analyze, and interpret care plans./liliAssisted living and memory care regulations knowledge./liliAbility to prioritize and organize assignments./liliThe employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living/li/ulpPhysical demands and requirements:/pulliMaintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach./liliMust be willing to be active and on feet during entire work shift./liliInvolves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities./liliMust have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items./li/ulpstrong *Schedule for this position: Weekends 10:30pm- 6:30am /strong/p/div
