Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit. Responsibilities:
The Cat Scan Technologist will be responsible for performing Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and Cat Scan interventional procedures on adult and pediatric patients. Prepare patients for scanning Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered Provide accurate explanations and instructions Perform venipuncture, IV patency and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines Monitor the patient’s physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure Perform any and all other duties as assigned Qualifications:
Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in CT scan. Active and current New Jersey State License—NJDEP Radiologic Technologist. Maintains CEU Credits. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) certification. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements: Associate’s degree is Applied Science.
